A Conversation With Tomorrow

by

in

Sometimes the future feels like a mystery.

Other times, like it’s already been spoken for.

Somewhere between inevitability and possibility is the space where faith lives.

The Future Is Already Spoken For

God has already laid claim to tomorrow. That doesn’t mean we know how everything will unfold, but it does mean we can trust that nothing is random. Even when things fall apart. Even when we’ve made mistakes. Even when disappointment sits heavy in our chest.

Yesterday’s failures don’t cancel tomorrow’s promises.

When You’ve Messed Up But God Hasn’t Moved

I’ve wrestled with what it means to keep moving forward when I feel like I’ve already fallen behind.

But here’s what I’m learning:

God’s destination for you doesn’t change just because you took the long way.

I messed up, but I’m still on my way.

That truth alone gives me the courage to keep going.

Feeding God Through People

And along the way, I’m reminded—how we treat others matters deeply.

Scripture puts it plainly:

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these…you did for me.” (Matthew 25)

Every act of love and generosity is more than kindness—it’s communion.

When we feed others, we feed God.

Will You Feed God When You See Him?

That question lingers.

It challenges me.

Will I choose generosity over judgment?

Compassion over convenience?

God’s promises over my preferences?

Will you feed God when you see Him?

You Can’t Beat God’s Giving

“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.” (Proverbs 19:17)

In serving others, we’re investing directly in the heart of God. That’s a promise worth trusting.

And still—Still!—God gives.

God provides.

God moves.

Even when the road is long.

Even when we’re tired.

You can’t beat God’s giving, no matter how hard you try.

The Set Time Is Coming

The timeless One has a set time.

A moment already marked.

A promise already in motion.

And when that time comes, what God said will come to pass.

So today, I choose to trust the pace.

To hold space for hope.

To believe that what’s ahead isn’t just possible—but inevitable.

If it had not been for the Lord…

Well, you already know.

Tomorrow Is Coming

Tomorrow is coming.

And I’m learning to have a better conversation with it.
