How do you practice self-care?
For me, self-care isn’t always the big gestures.
It’s more often the quiet decisions that no one sees.
Letting myself slow down when everything says to push through.
Choosing rest without guilt.
Not overexplaining when I need space.
It’s making time to walk, even if it’s just around the block.
It’s keeping a promise to myself—even a small one.
It’s saying, “This is enough for today,” and letting that be true.
Some days I get it right. Some days I don’t.
But I’ve stopped thinking of self-care as something to earn.
It’s something I return to—because I can’t pour from empty.
